Service Plan is just one in a range of products and services supplied by RDS Global. RDS Global was formed in 1997 to support one of the UKs leading independent motor retail groups. Such was the success of the company, and its ability to provide first class support and DMS training to the retail motor industry, a major vehicle manufacturer asked RDS Global to conduct DMS training at their college, which was a great success.
In 2001 we were asked if there was a cost effective solution to communicating with a manufacturers system as the only product which appeared to do the job was cost prohibitive. We developed what is now known as The Navigator. The Navigator has proved to be a great success and is now in more than 160 retailers across the business.
With growing demand to save money, but still retain quality, RDS Global strives to find or create the solution(s) which are needed to run a business. RDS Global designs and develops solutions from necessity and not just an idea to sell to the market place.
Over the years we have become an ISP (Internet Service Provider), developed a Server Hosting Centre and provide Technical support to a number of large dealer groups. Service Plan was conceived in 2007 when a number of our customers asked if we would create an affordable Service Plan scheme. We were given a specification to create a scheme that was easy to use, worked with customer information already captured and that gave much better cash flow benefits than products already available.
Our Service Plan scheme is now used by over 30 different companies handling a wide range of franchises.
2010 has seen a huge increase in our user base made up of dealers new to providing Service Plan as well as some that have moved away from their existing supplier.
